Ottmer & Madelena came to the USA about 1857 and came to Hornell, New York about 1868/69. Ottmer was killed by an Erie Railroad Car while working for the Railroad. They lived at 18 Pine St., 28 Elizabeth St, 10 & 12 South St. at various times. It appears some of the Bentleys moved to Buffalo in the 1930'S. Ottmer became a citizen of the USA October 8, 1872. His papers say he was a citizen of Weternburgh before being naturalized.
